Mathias Nebel (right) studied at Philipps University in Marburg and Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, focusing on tax advisory, auditing and corporate finance, and graduated with a master’s degree in Business Administration (Dipl.- Kfm). Beginning his career at KPMG Corporate Finance, he thereafter joined Jenoptik to manage strategic and minority investments in fast-growing and consolidating companies. Following a move to the Asset Management area of Jenoptik (DEWB), he began to focus on Venture Capital and Private Equity. During that time he prepared four IPOs in the industry sectors of medical technology, analytics and electronics. After gaining experience as Investment Manager, most recently with bm-t, Mathias Nebel founded VENTRADA in 2005.
